Leading Backup Software Vendor
One
of the leading backup software manufactures
called the president of Alexander LAN, Inc.
The company had just completed a financial
analysis of customer support and found that
one group of customers cost less to support
than all others. Upon close analysis they
found that they were users of the Alexander
SPK. Further analysis revealed 3 reasons: (1)
they had fewer crashes; (2) when they did
crash they were able to resolve the cause of
most of them in under 10 minutes without any
outside help, and; (3) when they needed
outside help, they would send the SPK Crash
Report which would be used by the vendor’s
support engineers and greatly simplified
resolution.
